The only edge is vegan edge. Bei mir läuft momentan 90’s XVX Metalcore rauf und runter.

Bekanntlich stirbt dieser Trend mit Bands wie Ecostrike, xElegyx und Safe & Sound nicht.

Es gibt aber auch leider viel Mist in diesem Genre. Langweilige Texte oder x-mal gehörte Breaks.

Das alles trifft zum Glück auf xReignx nicht zu.

Das Quartett aus San Diego hat das Potenzial und die Qualität als nur eine weitere Demo Band zu werden.

Keine 24 Stunden waren die Tapes im Verkauf , herausgebracht von , da war die Hälfte schon weg.

Innerhalb von vier Songs schafft es xReignx den 90’s Metalcore wieder aufleben zu lassen und dabei trotzdem nicht wie die tausendste Earth Crisis Kopie zu klingen.

Rotziger, wütender Hardcore mit einem schreienden Matt und ein paar Gang Shouts.

Gute Breaks, aber eben auch nicht zuviele, gefolgt von fiesem Geballer.

Das trifft alles ziemlich genau meine Geschmack und damit bin ich bestimmt nicht alleine.

Mit den letzten Zeilen bei Proclamation hatten sie mich dann völlig überzeugt.

The only edge is vegan edge. I’m listening to a lot of 90’s XVX Metalcore at the moment.

This trend doesn’t die with bands like Ecostrike, xElegyx and Safe & Sound, but on the other side there is a lot of bullshit music in the metalcore scene.

Boring lyrics or the breakdown which you’ve heard dozen of times.

This isn’t the case for xReignx.

The foursome group from San Diego has potential and quality to be not another one-demo-and-out band.

24 hours online and half of the tapes, who are released by BlacklistxRecords, were gone.

In four songs xReignx livens the 90’s Metalcore up and not sounding like the thousandth copy of Earth Crisis.

Snotty, vicious Hardcore with a angry and screaming Matt and a few gang shouts.

There a some good breaks, but not too much, followed by destructive banging.

With the last lines in Proclamation they had convinced me.
