Gar nicht so einfach über eine Band zu schreiben, wo ich außer dem Wohnort nichts im Internet finde.

Florida hat in den letzten Jahren einiges an guten Vegan Straight Edge Bands herausgebracht.

Conditioned kommen aus Tallhalassee, der Hauptstadt des Bundestaats Florida.

Dies ist ihre erste Veröffentlichung, aufgenommen am 22. April. (Earth Day wie Conditioned betont)

Sowieso wird sich sehr auf das Thema Veganismus beziehungsweise Tierrechte fokussiert.

Zwei der drei Songs handeln von den Qualen der Tiere in Schlachthäusern oder ähnlichem.

Das es hier emotional zur Sache geht, schlägt sich dann auch in der Stimme des Sängers nieder.

Ein angepisster Sänger, welcher untermalt wird von wütenden Gitarren und hämmernden Drums.

Der letzte Song Humanity’s Extinction strotzt dann nochmal voller Hass auf die Menschheit und die resultierende Zerstörung der Erde.

Sind die beiden anderen Songs noch mehr in Richtung Hardcore, kommt hier der Metal doch mehr zum Vorschein.

Mein Kopf nickt auf jedenfall die ganze Zeit mit, während ich die Demo höre.

Auch wenn Conditioned nicht das Rad neu erfinden und im Gegensatz zu Ecostrike nicht so innovativ sind, gefällt mir Demo als 90’s Metalcore Fan ziemlich gut.

It’s not easy to write about a band, where you just find the hometown and nothing else.

In the past there were numerous of good, new Vegan Straight Edge bands from Florida.

Conditioned comes from Tallhalassee, the capital city of Florida.

This is the first release by them, recorded at April 22. (Earth Day how Conditioned marked)

The main topics are veganism or animal rights.

Two of three songs cover the torture of animals in slaughterhouses or the like.

It’s an emotional topic and this is how the vocalist sounds.

A pissed singer with angry and driving guitars and hammering drums.

The last song Humanity’s Exctinction is full of hate about the destroying of nature by humanity.

Whereas the first songs are more hardcore, the last one has a lot of metal riffs.

My head is nodding all the time, while listening to this demo.

Conditioned aren’t reinventing the wheel or beeing really innovative, but this is a good first release with great lyrics.
